Good evening everyone!
To start off my blog, I thought about writing down about all the popular series which I own (or partially own) and still haven’t started. The reason for this is that I would like to get recommendation on which series to start reading during the fall time. So, here they are:
Now this is a very popular series by Victoria Aveyard which I discovered last year. I have heard so many great reviews and would love to start reading it soon.
Another series I own is the Legend series by Marie Lu. I believe that I am the last person on earth who has a bookstagram account and still didn’t read this series. I bought these books in a book fair and thought I had a great deal on it. However, I believe now that I have discovered Book Depository too late. However, I did read the other series “The Young Elites” by Marie Lu and loved it.
Yes, I am sure If you know “Sasha” from ABookUtopia, then you would know this series. She has been going on about these books for AGES and I bought them when I found out about her channel last year. I read an excerpt from iBooks and loved how funny it was. I NEED to start this series soon.
Now this is a semi-popular series and I only own the first book. But still, it is a fantasy and I LOVE fantasies.
Snow Like Ashes:
YES, YES, SHAME ON ME! I haven’t even started this series and I know I am missing out on a lot.
The Lunar Chronicles:
*GASP*! How do I even dare calling my self a book lover when I haven’t even read this series and formed my own opinion? Unfortunately, I only discovered this series this year from bookstagram. Yes, I know you are asking “Does she even live in this world?” but to my defense, I haven’t seen this series in my country’s bookshops before this year.
This is another series I have known through Sasha and would love to start it as I haven’t read many Sci-Fi books before.
A Court of Thorns and Roses:
NO WAY! Is there a person on earth who hasn’t ready any book by Sarah J. Maas? Unfortunately, It’s me. I am so ashamed to tell you all I have NOT read any book by SJM (I still didn’t buy her “Throne of Glass” books yet).
The Winner’s Trilogy:
No, I still did not read this series even though I heard it is VERY great and that it has a strong female lead.
To tell you the truth, I have completely forgot what this series is about, yet I do know that a lot of people have enjoyed it. Do let me know if I should bring it up on my TBR list.
The Mistborn Trilogy:
I haven’t seen any post/video where someone said a bad thing about any Brandon Sanderson book.I have decided to start with this series as his other series are VERY long (I think this one is too, but it can be read as a trilogy by itself).
Daughter of Smoke and Bone:
Now this series belongs to my brother (I only bought the last book), but it has been sitting on my shelves for a long time. The only reason I haven’t read it yet is because I have heard mixed reviews and I am afraid that I will not enjoy it.
The Maze Runner:
So, this is the last series in this post. I didn’t read the book because I have seen the first movie and loved it and I am afraid that I am going to hate the books.
