Long time no post. I apologize for being away this month as i had a few personal reasons. However, I am coming back now and I thought that I should still post about all the books on my TBR which I am anticipating to read this year.
This is a bit different since I am not going to write about the books that will come out this year. I want to focus more on what I currently have as I am trying not to buy as much books as I did last year.
This will also serve as a reminder that I should stop putting off popular books and series and start reading them… NOW!
The first series I want to talk about is the Lunar Chronicles. I have read the first book of this series in January and absolutely LOVED it! I need to continue on with the rest of the books before the year ends.
Next is the ACOTAR series. I know I shouldn’t start this now because this will be a 6 book series and I’ll probably forget everything by the time we reach the last book. But I really want to know what all the Rhysand hype is all about. *sigh*Three Dark Crowns sounded really good when I first heard about it on YouTube. What makes me want to read it more is the fact I won this in a bookstagram giveaway from the lovely Ania at @anarchy_in_the_library . Check out her feed guys because it’s so cute!
The Winner’s trilogy is a three book series I wanted to read for SO LONG it’s not funny anymore. Must. Get. To. It!
Of course, I am always late to the party so the selection series is another one I want to read this year. I’m all for that guilty pleasure books. Especially in the summer time ❤
Before this year ends, I have a goal of reading my first V.E. Schwab book and that will be Vicious. I will not buy any of her other books until I read this book.
Now that I have read both Iluminae and Gemina, I believe they should have been in this list instead of Uprooted. But since this is an anticipated reads post and not my favorite books of 2017, I’ll keep it here. Plus, it has dragons, which are my favorite mythical creatures of all time.
The first book I read from Tracy Rees ended up being my favorite book of 2015 *it was her debut novel*. Now I really want to see how her writing grew since that time. Plus historical fiction is one of my favorite genres.
SIX OF CROWS! Do I need to say anything else?
And last but not least, Red Queen is a book I wanted to read since I bought it in 2015. And what made me want to read it even more is the fact that a lot of people are recommending this book to me and telling me that I need to start reading it now.
If you have read any of these books, which one do you recommend I start first? And what books are you anticipating to read?
